I just purchased a Bittle for research/education a few months ago and have played with it only a few times (maybe 5-6 times). I just handed it to a mechanical engineering graduate student the other day and the battery won't charge for her. She was connecting it to her laptop USB port so I asked her to plug it into a wall. Neither is working. When I short press the button, it gives me a series of quick red flashes. When I long press the button it does nothing. We only have 3 weeks left to class and she and her group need this functional for their final project. Any immediate help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
What kind of battery is used on inside battery module? Can I buy it externally? What are the ratings of the battery?
What voltage should I read between terminals is battery and battery module?
Similar problem here .. battery not charging. Where can I get new battery from?
Please charge the battery like this, Use a 5V-1A USB charger to charge the battery. We don't recommend using fast chargers. The battery will NOT supply power during charging, so unplug it from mainboard. Keep the battery in your sight when charging.
During the charging, the red LED light is on.
When the charging is over the green LED light is on.
Hi, have you ever charged the battery successfully previously?
Could you take a video to show how it was connected and charged?
