I Have the Petoi app but when I connect it to my Bittle robot, the robot turns it head right to left then the app gives feedback saying it isn't a Petoi Robot?
When connecting, the app will send handshakesignals to the robot, and the robot should be running the firmware in standard mode to respond correctly.
The Firmware Uploader bypasses the native Arduino Environment to configure the firmware. Because the board could be blank, there's no handshake mechanism but a simple detector to decide which serial port on your computer is connected to the robot.
If it fails the automatic method, it will ask you to unplug and replug the USB uploader from the computer side. It will assume the changed port is the targeted one. If the driver of the USB uploader is not installed, the computer will not detect its serial port and fail the manual method. Then, you need to install the driver.
If the light ends up with red, it means the resetting operation fails. After todays remote session, we decide it's a malfunction of either the NyBoard or the bootloader resetter. We will send a replacement to cross validate the two components.
I had a helpful tech support call with Rz and determined that I needed a new Bittle board. I've replaced the board and all is working. Thanks for being so responsive!
I get the same error message as of today with a bluetooth connection from the app to PetoiBLE-011B, which is the only shown connection. yesterday, it connected. Anybody aware of a solution?

I'm terribly sorry for missing this post until a new comment pops it up.
When connecting, the app will send handshake signals to the robot, and the robot should be running the firmware in standard mode to respond correctly. If the app returns a "not Petoi robot" error, it's probably due to a firmware issue. Please follow this debugging process: https://docs.petoi.com/technical-support/faq-frequently-asked-questions#nyboard-cant-upload-firmware
If the cause cannot located, please write to support@petoi.com to settle a remote session or replacement.
Here's the user experience you can expect.
